2. Is abortion safe?

3. What is sepsis?

Sepsis is a bacterial infection that can result after having a medical abortion (abortion in the form of two series of pills). Signs of sepsis include fever, decreased urination, pelvic tenderness, an abrupt change in mental status, difficulty breathing, severe abdominal pain, abnormal heart rate and a decrease in platelets in the blood.

4. What are the emotional risks of having an abortion?
